*** Update 7-22-10
The landscaper notified us that if we removed the evergreen tree at the Baxter entrance in the fall then we could replant that tree in anther area within the subdivision. Otherwise if we made the change in the middle of summer the tree would have been lost. You can look for this tree to be moved in the fall, (September/October) timeframe.
*** Update 6/11/10
Recent changes to our subdivision include:
- Both entrances will have a new hedge installed because the original bushes were dying and to replace a few bushes at a time would change the look of the hedge and it would not have a structured/organized look. The WildHorse entrance has been completed and the Baxter Road entrance is on the schedule to be completed soon.
- The sprinklers have been turned on but there was a delay due to the grounding system of the sprinklers at the WildHorse Entrance. Maintenance was completed by Lawn Systems this past week and we now have water flowing. Thank you to the neighbors who allowed me to water the flowers at both entrances using their water faucets.
- Flowers at both entrances were enhanced this year with 2 different flowers rather than just 1 type for the whole flower bed.
- Our landscaper has been instructed to remove (or replant if possible) the evergreen at the Baxter entrance that is blocking view of the Baxter traffic coming from the intersection at Baxter and Wild Horse. Also, the lower branches of the tree in the line of sight will be removed as well.
- Also, the landscaper has been instructed to trim all bushes in every cul-de-sac as they were getting to wild looking.
- Lastly, I will be contacting Chesterfield about repairing the curbs our cul-de-sacs as they are disintegrating. Tip...check your sidewalk for any maintenance that needs to be done, especially if the sidewalk has sunk or raised up due to tree roots hitting it. Chesterfield has to repair it if you request it. If someone is hurt on your sidewalk, then you are liable for any damages so let Chesterfield repair them for you.
